Wi-Bike App

The exclusive App designed for Piaggio Wi-Bike, the connected electric bike that you can ride with your smartphone. Wi-bike App unlocks the exclusive functionalities designed and implemented by Piaggio for Wi-Bike riders only. Connect your smartphone to your Wi-Bike: you will enable the GPS anti-theft system and the bike locator. Furthermore, the app can interact with the vehicle and will allow you to choose between 10 levels of assistance and 3 different riding modes according to the type of itinerary: Standard, City, Hill. The combination of these options grants the most suitable settings for your ride with an efficient use of the battery. The Fitness mode allows to control your effort, selecting the power output that you want to reach and maintain: Wi-bike will adjust accordingly. You can also calculate the amount of calories burned and monitor your Heart Rate (*through a Bluetooth compatible heart rate monitor). When you are done with your ride, you can share the results on social networks. You can check on remote the battery level of your Wi-Bike at any time, and if you forget to re-charge it, you will receive a push notification directly on your smartphone. Functionalities: - Smartphone functions as electronic key to unlock your Wi-Bike. - Based on your biometric data, the app will show the suggested seat height and tire pressure and will calculate your calorie consumption. - Dashboard features: o Residual battery charge (%) and range (km) o Human/Machine power bar: to visualize your effort contribution compared to the assistance of the motor. o Possibility to monitor: speed, average speed, pedaling cadence, hear rate, average heart rate. o Possibility to set goal for: distance, calorie burn. o Riding Modes: Standard, City, Hill, Fitness. o Assistance level (1-10) or Human Power Out (0-200 Watt) - Where is my bike: verify remotely the position of the bike and the level of charge of the battery. - Activate the Anti-theft system: you will receive a push notification if the bike gets moved and if the charge of the battery goes below a given level. - Navigation: set desired destination to start navigator. It’s possible to select the desired layout of the screen: full dashboard, full navigation, half dashboard and half navigation. You can save your favorite destinations to quickly recall them. - Diagnostics: you can check at any time the status of the components electronically installed on the bike (Motor, Battery, Dashboard). - Share on your favorite Social Networks the results of your rides. Disclaimer on Battery usage: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
