Half-Frame Joiner

Half-frame cameras fit two photographs where a normal 35mm frame goes. So when the lab scans your film, you get back one wide image holding two separate pictures, divided by the dark strip of unexposed film between them. Half-Frame Joiner finds that divider, splits the scan into its two real photographs, and lets you rejoin any two of them into a new pair — ready to print. SPLIT YOUR SCANS Pick your half-frame scans straight from your photo library. Each one splits automatically, cropped from the original at full resolution and never resampled. Scans the detector isn't sure about are left whole, so a real picture is never cut in half by accident — and you can always split those by hand. REJOIN ANY TWO Tap two frames and see them joined instantly. Pair them back the way they were shot, or combine frames from completely different rolls to make something new. Every combination is a tap away. MADE FOR PRINTING Choose 4×6, 5×7, or the original aspect ratio before you save, and the app composes to exactly that shape so a lab won't crop your photographs unexpectedly. Pinch to zoom, drag to reposition, and rotate each photo inside its half of the frame until it sits right. The black divider between the two pictures is recreated the way film actually looks, not pasted in as a hard line. EXPORT WHAT YOU NEED Save joined pairs, or export single frames on their own — as TIFF for maximum quality or JPEG for smaller files. Everything goes back to your photo library.
