IUoC is a free Quran reader, qibla compass, and Hijri calendar. No account, no subscription, no ads, and nothing sent anywhere. THE QURAN The complete Uthmani text from the Tanzil Project, with six English translations to choose from: Saheeh International, Hilali & Khan, Rowwad, Talal Itani, Pickthall, and Yusuf Ali. Optional tajweed colouring shows where letters stretch, merge, and stop. Arabic text size is adjustable. SEARCH AND BOOKMARKS Search in Arabic or in English, or jump straight to a reference like 2:255. Save any verse. The app remembers where you stopped reading. QIBLA The direction of the Kaaba from wherever you are, worked out on your device from true north rather than magnetic north, which is off by as much as twenty degrees across populated latitudes. Your location never leaves your phone. HIJRI CALENDAR Today's date on the Umm al-Qura calendar, with a month grid carrying both calendars in every cell. If your community begins the month a day earlier or later, set an offset to match. A VERSE EACH DAY One verse on the home screen every morning, and widgets for your home and lock screen in English, in Arabic, or in both, plus a Hijri date widget. IT WORKS OFFLINE Everything ships inside the app. Reading, search, the qibla and the calendar all work in airplane mode. There is no account to create and no server to reach. Bookmarks and settings can be backed up to your own iCloud if you want them, and that backup goes to your account rather than to us. Made by Project IUoC.
