“Poor Icon Design. Apple Music is one of those apps that has had a permanent spot in my home screen dock. With the icon update Apple has completely thrown off my intuition of my phone. They give us no option to alter the icon outside of dark theme syncing, which I can’t enable without shifting ALL icons to dark mode. What is going on with your design department, Apple. Get it together.”
“Apple Music and iOS updates. Every time Apple releases a major update, something in Apple Music application breaks. Apple Music bug fixes take Apple months to fix. For example, after iOS 27 release, Apple Music does not allow to manually switch a song from a downloaded list of songs. You can switch the song by clicking Next button (from Now Playing screen) but it doesn’t not work from the list of songs when you have no connection to the internet. This happens only when you have no connection to the internet (on the subway for example) So you have to restart the app and play the song you want to play. iOS 27 was released on September 14. Today is October 30 and it’s iOS 27.2. The issue is still there.”
“Very Poor User Interface. The user interface is a mess. Apple Music will mix music your own with other downloaded music and also music you purchase through iTunes Music. Then they schlocked Shazam into this quagmire also. Which only communicates with Apple Music about 90 % of the time in locating and naming of music. It also comes with ads in your Library suggesting music. Its playback functions on the Apple TV are non existent. Very second rate and not updated in a very long time.”
“Worked for years now it won’t play. My Apple Music worked for years at paper subscription every month, and yet something just happened yesterday where I can’t get it to play and I can’t get any support. It continues to say not found and skip every song in my playlist.”
“Super buggy. I don’t know why, but whenever I press a song, it just automatically starts skipping and running through a list of 100 other songs and I can’t listen to any of them. It happens randomly and I have no clue what’s going on. It also won’t let me connect to Internet anymore and it says I’m on airplane mode even though I’m very clearly not. Tried resetting my phone and everything it’s just being buggy. It’s also a little expensive.”
“All issues fixed switching “third party” Garmin : third party works better with Apple hardware.. Summary: not good on Apple hardware. 5/25/26 update look to the end. Apple only cares about ai nothing else. Everything else is commercial. 6/?/26: App or rather Apple couldn’t figure faster so i left it. Quality right? Actual date 6/5/26 -From User. App won’t let me check. Apple will not hire to fill the void for ai. The will micro mange making their product ….soso. As we have all seen. Hire new help to fix all yalls glitches. Or fix glitches ? Maybe ? 2/18/26: My Apple devices never work well together. I’m frequently being dropped from listening to music because I need to sign in on my watch for the fifth time today. Play two songs drops the app. I have to start app pick a play list and get to listen seamlessly for 2 more songs before repeating. This is a known issue with a lot of work around. I guess I don’t understand buying Apple beats, Apple Watch, and Apple phone of these apps continually fail. Until there is sustained smoothness and ease of access of this app amongst all devices I’ll leave the review and update if Apple decides making their devices workable for more than a couple of days is important. Update 3/12/26: still doesn’t work well with Apple products. Go another route. Poor connection to watches and headphones. Won’t download music onto watch. In download music on watch. Constantly signs out. 5/5/26. Do not get an Apple Watch. It’s been over six hours over high speed internet to download a few songs. Company is a smoke and show for mirrors for shares not quality. ****fitness people ****** 5-5-26: Don’t buy Apple. They have spent all resources on fake AI(large language search engine) theirs Watch is as good as Fitbit lol. A joke. Garmin seems to be where fitness people go. 6/5/26: still waiting for music to download to watch lol. Go some where else. Apple is done and they are harvesting. RIP Apple. Let’s see who is next.”
“Not user friendly. I came over from YouTube Music, and I honestly don’t like Apple Music for several reasons. The first is the layout. Everything is too big and takes up unnecessary space. Even if they recommend one song for you, they have it in an album cover style. On YouTube Music, they suggest a list of individual songs, and they also have the views of every song, which helps me decide if I’m going to click on it or not. Also, if you pen a song, Apple Music doesn’t just pen the song you picked, they pen the entire album that song is on, which is confusing to me. Also, the algorithm is very slow to respond to your listening habits. On YouTube and Amazon Music, they adapt instantly to the songs you are currently playing. With Apple Music, when I play the radio station intended for me, it’s still playing songs and artists a played 2-3 years ago when I was primarily using Apple, even though it’s evident my listening habits has changed. Apple is too focused on aesthetics instead of functional music. YouTube has introduced me to so much new music that I like, where as Apple simply plays the music that I’ve already hearted, or music from popular artists. It’s been about a month now, and the platform still hasn’t adapted to what I truly like. It feels like it’s playing the music it wants me to listen to as opposed to the music I’ve been playing. For example, my Essential list is based on music, even after a month, that I listened to over 2 years ago, even though it’s updated weekly. I’ll more than likely be switching back to YouTube Music. You can tell the creators of Apple Music are focused more on design than functionality. I gave it 2 stars because it is a very nice design, but it comes at a great cost of functionality.”
“Mix features. I really was enjoying the auto mixing feature with the new update. Recently, however it has stopped working and my playlist keeps skipping songs. I hope this refreshes soon.”
“Apple One sucks. I already subscribe to Apple Music and got a free trial to Apple One. I canceled Apple One and it canceled my Apple Music. I had to resubscribe and now I don’t know if I ever received a pro-rated refund for the amount I’ve already paid for. Apple really needs to fix this!! I JUST CHECKED AND ALL MY PLAYLISTS ARE GONE BECAUSE THE STUPID APPLE ONE TRIAL. I HATE THIS. YOU GUYS SUCK.”
“Wtf. Alll these albums just say not available in my region and I try to troubleshoot the issue but it doesn’t get fixed. All these useless purchases that just won’t play”
