  “Banned for selling costume prop. Probably one of the worst customer service out. They have a costume category but will penalize for selling. Appeal was denied immediately even when I explained how it wasn’t a violation. No warning or care for the user. Over 200 sold items all 5 stars and get permanently banned for a simple mistake. Do better and stop using Ai to wrongfully ban people.”

  “Horrible experience. I made an account right? I got to use it for a day for context. I’m 15. My dad usually sends me money because I’m good. I got this app to spend that money put a few things in my cart and my dad was gonna send me money. he finally does it. I opened the app I was banned. I try to figure out why doesn’t tell me I go to the website still doesn’t tell me says I violated some terms of service even though I’m old enough and as to my information, I didn’t break any rules I couldn’t get in contact with anybody to figure it out and I was really looking forward to using this app. Very disappointed. Maybe this will get someone to get in contact with me.”

  “steals money, also always takes buyers side.. Honestly this app sucks to sell on. They will ALWAYS take a fee from you no matter what. Someone opened an issue for one of my items and my item was listened exactly how the item should have been. But instead of reviewing my stuff they automatically took money out of my account. ALSO on top of that i sold an item for about $14 never received the money even after filing a complaint. But you guys have time to tell me who I own money too. lol ok”

  “Greedy. was good before and now the shipping and taxing etc is CRAZY I was about to buy something and the price went up almost another 25$ like what the heck?? If anything shipping shouldn’t be more than 3$ but for it to make my item go up that high is absolutely bananas considering sellers don’t even make that much money Depop steals a bunch of it Depop is only good for if you’re buying stuff under 10$ otherwise your stuff will sky rocket in price”

  “Don’t use this app.. My account was spammed by an angry buyer for fake merchandise. Some even had authentication from eBay still connected to the shoes. You can’t speak to a human. They will not help you with anything. Items were even removed that were in transit. Meaning no merchandise sent back to me , no payment to me. Their dispute button also does not work. It just sends you back to a canceled listing. Just go back to eBay guys cause there is in fact seller feees . If you want to make 5 dollars a purchase this app is for you. If you have actual merchandise worth something DONT USE THIS APP”

  “Sold Items, Shipped Orders, and Still Can’t Get Paid”. Depop is honestly one of the most frustrating apps I’ve ever used. My account got suspended after I had already shipped my customers’ orders through UPS, and now I have to worry about whether I’m going to get paid for the items I sold. I even provided proof and tried to appeal the decision, but they still denied it and said my decision was final. It’s unfair to let sellers put time and effort into running their shops and then leave them worrying about their money. Customer service has been no help, and the whole situation has been stressful. I understand that rules are rules, but sellers deserve clear explanations and fair treatment, especially when their money is involved. I would not recommend this app to anyone who wants to sell without worrying about losing access to their earnings.”

  “Disappointed With New Update. I am usually pleased with the Depop app, however, this recent update is not user friendly. I am quite displeased with the removal of the instant “save” button. It is now located under a new tab and it feels unnecessary.”
