Questions
How accurate are the revenue estimates?
They are model estimates based on public App Store signals such as chart positions and ratings, not numbers reported by the developer. That's why we always show a range and a confidence level, and the methodology page explains the model and its limits.
What does "revenue" mean here?
Revenue is what users spend in the app (purchases and subscriptions) before Apple takes its commission, which is usually 15–30%. The developer receives less than this amount.
Which apps are covered?
iOS apps in our catalog, which includes tens of thousands of apps. Estimates appear once an app has enough chart data, so the number of estimated apps grows every day. Android is not covered yet.
Is it free?
Yes, browsing and estimates are free during the beta, with no signup. A free account adds CSV exports, watchlists and alerts.
How often is the data updated?
App Store charts are collected several times a day and estimates are refreshed as new data arrives, usually daily.
