App Store data inside ChatGPT, Claude and Cursor.

Connect AppTrendKit to your AI assistant and ask about any iPhone app: estimated downloads and revenue, top charts by country and category, and how hard an App Store keyword is to rank for. Answers come with the app's AppTrendKit page.

What you get

Ask in plain words

"How much does the ChatGPT app make?", "Top grossing games in Japan", "Who competes with Calm?" Your assistant picks the right lookup and explains the result.

Five read-only tools

Search apps, app details with downloads and revenue estimates, top charts, App Store keyword difficulty, and an App Store commission calculator. Nothing is changed or saved.

Shown right in the chat

In ChatGPT and Claude the results appear as a compact list or app card, with icons, ratings and figures, and every app links to its AppTrendKit page.

How it works

  1. 1

  3. 3

    Go deeper on the site

Open any app's AppTrendKit page for its history, countries, keywords, reviews and similar apps.

Questions

What is an MCP server?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI assistants use to connect to outside tools and data. AppTrendKit's MCP server lets ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP apps look up AppTrendKit data while they answer you.

Which assistants work with it?

Any app that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP: ChatGPT (developer mode), Claude on the web, desktop and mobile, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Cline, Zed, Gemini CLI and Codex, among others.

Which numbers can the assistant see?

The same as anyone visiting AppTrendKit without an account: estimated downloads and revenue for AppTrendKit's top 300 apps, store details and chart positions for every app, keyword difficulty for the US App Store, and the commission calculator.

Where do the estimates come from?

From public App Store signals such as chart ranks, ratings and prices, modelled into estimated downloads and gross revenue for the last 7 and 30 days. They are estimates to compare apps, not official figures.

Is the MCP server open source?

The server is hosted by AppTrendKit and free to use. Its documentation, config files for each client, the tool reference and the changelog are public on GitHub: https://github.com/abannout/apptrendkit-mcp.

What does AppTrendKit receive from my chat?

Only the lookup your assistant sends, such as an app name, a chart or a keyword. We don't receive your conversation or your account with the assistant. Details are in our privacy policy.
