“Don’t try to sell name brand. My account was permanently banned because I was trying to sell a Coach wallet with all the tags that it was purchased with (the only thing I didn’t have was the receipt). After appealing their decision they still stuck with their ban decision. Customer support is terrible to get ahold of to delete account. Don’t waste your time and energy and just donate all your stuff or have a yard sale”

“Scam app. This app has so many scammers and if you write a bad review for them all they have to do is accuse you of selling counterfeit items to get your account banned with no evidence at all. You are pretty much guilty till you can prove what you are selling is legit.”

“Terrible experience with the app and customer support. I’ve been using Vinted for only two days, and my experience has already been extremely frustrating. Every time I try to purchase an item by clicking “Buy now,” I get a generic “Something went wrong” error and cannot even reach the checkout page. This happens with every item I’ve tried. I contacted customer support and was initially given the usual troubleshooting checklist: update the app, uninstall and reinstall it, clear browser cookies, try different browsers, etc. I explained that the issue happens on BOTH the app and website, and that I had already tried these steps. None of it helped. Eventually, support told me that there was a temporary technical issue on their end and that my ability to purchase would be restricted until October 30 at 8:05 PM. Apparently, they had placed some sort of restriction on my account, but nobody could explain exactly what the issue was, why it happened, or why I was being prevented from making purchases. What makes this even more frustrating is that I had to go back and forth with support just to get a basic explanation. The initial responses were generic and unhelpful, and I was left unable to use a core feature of the platform. It’s unacceptable that a brand-new user can be prevented from making purchases without a clear explanation, and that customer support cannot provide meaningful answers or immediate assistance. Two days on Vinted, and I’m already questioning whether this platform is worth using.”

“FAKE. FB is better. Sale in secs get paid in weeks!!. This app is fake. They said no extra cost, the glitch is is that they say there are no fees... Well they lie, there are! And also you can sell something in seconds and it takes weeks to get paid so basically ship your stuff out and sit there like a waiting duck. You are supposed to have 2 days to review and respond, ASLO A LIE. You get a day and a few hours then you’re stuck. Facebook marketplace is WAY better. That’s all.”

“Full of scams.. Be careful I was scammed twice and the app has no way to report scams. My big one is they sent toys instead of what I purchased and they are making me return the item to get a refund. I’m having to jump though all these hoops after proving I was scammed instead of there being a way to identify scams. I’m deleting the app”

“Shady. Don’t use Vinted! I sold over 100 items, never once sold anything that wasn’t authentic. The other night I got a notification that four items were removed for potential counterfeit. I clicked on the link to dispute it and send any extra pictures or proof that I had and it only allowed me FIVE pictures for four separate items. I did what I could to show proof and as soon as I sent it, I was permanently banned with ZERO way to speak to a person or even a bot tbh. You can’t do ANYTHING about it and it’s not fair. I have to wait for my money to dribble in, I can’t track anything I’ve mailed anymore, nothing! Go to Mercari or Depop!”

“Very disappointed.. I WAS genuinely enjoying vented until I bought from a buyer who sent me an item. I did not even order and never sent me the correct items vinted would not refund me unless I PAID OUT IF MY POCKET, to send the item back to the seller. They allowed that seller to be a scammer so I only am out of money and shipping cost from the last order, I never received the items I ordered, on top of it would have to lose more money just to fix the sellers mistake to get my money back. I will no longer be using the app since vinted refuses to make this right.”

“Not great anymore. It was great at first, you could find some really good deals. Now the shipping has gone up and the Vinted fees. It is becoming just as unaffordable as other selling platform. They got greedy.”

“Terrible moderation on a once great app. I have loved and used vinted for years, but lately I can hardly use the app with the volume of scam listings. Accounts with no reviews listing high value items for way too low. I report listings and they come back as "not breaking any rules", meanwhile every day I see posts of people across various media apps asking for advice on how to get their money back from being scammed on vinted! Please increase the moderation! I've been getting vinted commercials lately and feel as though the app is doing fine. Why is there no effort to protect your customer base? It's sad and disappointing and i leave this with the hope that something changes. I can't use vinted confidently until then.”
