Wildfire LAN is a pure local-area-network instant messaging tool. It relies on no central server, requires no sign-up, and doesn't even need an Internet connection — as long as your devices are on the same LAN, open the app and they discover each other automatically, connect directly, and start chatting. Whether you're in a meeting room, an office or at an event, in an offline or isolated intranet environment, or simply privacy-conscious and unwilling to let your conversations pass through any third-party server, Wildfire LAN lets you communicate freely anytime. Rich message types: send text, photos, voice messages and files at will; large files are chunked automatically for reliable transfer. On desktop you can drag and drop files or entire folders to send them, and share a screenshot with one click — highly efficient for work. Group chats are supported: create groups, add or remove members, rename the group. @mention a member or everyone for a strong alert, and offline members automatically catch up on missed messages when they come back online. One-to-one voice and video calls are also supported, so you can switch how you communicate to fit the moment. For security, every device holds its own identity key pair, and connections are verified by signature during the handshake, effectively preventing impersonation. Device trust status is always visible, so you know exactly who you're talking to. A full set of message management tools: recall, forward, reply, full-text search, pin conversations and mute notifications — everything you need for daily use. Privacy is the foundation of this product: with no central server, your data stays on your own devices and never passes through any server we operate. All messages and files travel directly between devices; chat history is stored only on your device and is completely removed when you uninstall. No ads, no analytics, no tracking. Wildfire LAN works seamlessly across phones and computers, with a clean, easy-to-use interface that makes it ideal for team work, ad-hoc collaboration and family use. Note: devices must be on the same LAN (same subnet) to discover each other. Please grant the "Local Network" permission on first use — it is required for device discovery and messaging.
