“Please be aware. ⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointing experience with Trip.com. I purchased a ticket for the Corning Museum of Glass and contacted customer service within minutes after realizing I couldn’t use it because of the passport requirement. The ticket was never used. Trip.com asked me to wait 24–48 hours for an update, but I waited approximately 20 days without a resolution. When I finally disputed the charge with my credit card company, Trip.com contacted me demanding that I withdraw the dispute and warning me about potential consequences. My credit card dispute was ultimately denied, and I am still trying to get my money back. Even now, the refund issue remains unresolved. The lack of timely communication and the way this situation was handled have been extremely frustrating. I gave Trip.com an opportunity to resolve the issue directly, but the experience has been stressful and disappointing. I would think twice before booking with them again.”

“Buggy auto booking behavior. They use auto generated Chinese email addresses instead of yours when book in flights, so you can’t receive any refund from airlines for delayed flights because it goes to some random fake email. If another traveler joins your trip they book hotels under their name instead of yours without warning you, leading to confusion. This app is super buggy and their behavior will cause trip problems.”

“horrible. absolute scammers, they make sure to hide fees, stating refunds and lying on the airlines saying the airlines are collecting fees when all reality their are the ones keeping the money. even though my cancellation was to book another more expensive flight through their website. then offering 1500 trip coins $15! this will be the last time i go through these type of websites. ridiculous, you spend thousands of dollars and they cant even do good business. i cancelled my flight for a more expensive flight and i am charged a fee when it stated that i would receive a refund but they keep some of the money, samething priceline does. will be the last time i give these people my money. completely understandable when your cancelling for a cheaper flight or booking through someone else! $128 to lose a loyal customer ! thats greed”
