How this report works
Every movement on this page is an observed chart position. Several times a day we record the US App Store's top 100 free and top grossing apps, overall and for every category. For each app we average its rank over the days it was on a chart, this week and the week before, and list the biggest climbers: apps on the chart at least three days in both weeks that gained five places or more.
“Also on Top Grossing” is the best position an app reached on the overall US Top Grossing chart during the same week, from the same daily chart records.
The report is frozen when it is published on Monday, so it never changes afterwards. The 30-day downloads and App Store spend next to an app are AppTrendKit estimates as of today, not figures from Apple or the developer.
