“Bug Fix. After iOS update to 27, this app won’t stay open. It constantly closes if you lock your phone. After every phone unlock, I have to manually open the app again. I have your latest version of the app. Please look into this. Thanks in advance.”
“Crashes. App crashes or kicks me out of sheets everyday several times a day , the app is useless to me”
“Clumsy. Sheets was clumsy and not intuitive to use. I eventually figured it out ( I think) but found Sheets vague.”
“Please add iPhone Duo support. Please add iPhone duo support. I got it for productivity but sheets look pathetic in it. Please update the app”
“Update removed normal function. After the update I no longer have the option to remove shared files from my iOS sheets app. Reporting the file as spam has been the only option I have found to remove them. I will be doing that until this is reinstated”
“Where are the keyboard shortcuts. Frustrating and lacking basic keyboard shortcut support Google Sheets is incredibly frustrating to use if you’re accustomed to working efficiently with keyboard shortcuts on a Mac. Shortcuts that are quick and intuitive are absent, which makes editing and navigating spreadsheets unnecessarily slow. For a productivity tool, having reliable keyboard shortcuts should be a basic feature. Constantly having to reach for the mouse or remember different key combinations completely disrupts the workflow. Google Sheets has plenty of useful features, but the poor and inconsistent iPad keyboard shortcut experience seriously hurts its usability. If you’re an iPad user who relies heavily on keyboard shortcuts, be prepared for a frustrating experience.”
“Horrible layout. The recent layout update has made the app much harder to use. Moving the formatting shortcuts completely behind the "A" button at the top instead of keeping them accessible right on the bottom bar like before adds unnecessary steps to basic tasks. It is incredibly frustrating to have to go into a whole different area just to add a row. It now takes three separate taps just to add a single row. For every single row added, the entire popup menu disappears, meaning you can no longer just spam the add button to insert multiple rows quickly like you used to. Furthermore, users used to have immediate access to essential tools right on the main screen. The background color of a cell, bold, italics, underline, and the text alignment position within the cell were all easily accessible. Now, all of these features are blocked under a completely separate section rather than being right there. The previous design was much more efficient for mobile editing.”
“Not what I thought. I got charged twice in one day. $9.99 and $39.99 all I wanted was the tried and all I approved was the trial.”
“It’s jacked up. Whatever update they just pushed removed the ability to edit texts or colors in a single box. The edit bar is completely gone when selecting one box”
“Like all things google, horrible privacy policy. Why does an Excel spreadsheet app need your location data? Because Google, that’s why. The largest ad data generator. Stop supporting this trash company.”
