“They steal your money. I ordered so much food from McDonalds for my family I spend $40 and I only received a Big Mac and 3 nuggets and they wouldn’t give me a refund at all O HATE THIS APP”

“Alcohol delivery. I ordered alcohol through a promotion, I had four adults over the age of 21 to receive it and they refuse to deliver it and then charge me a $25 restocking fee. Keep in mind I have ordered alcohol with them before not been there to receive it and never had an issue. The Customer Service refused to talk to me or do their job and just kept repeating themselves that the $25 was nonrefundable”

“Rip off. Restaurant sent me wrong order. Nobody would fix it. Uber Eats told me they’d issue full refund, then refunded me $4.80 for a small soup (I ordered a large and everything else in my order was incorrect.) Now I have to file a dispute. Just call the restaurant directly and save yourself some grief. This is a bad service.”

“AI ruined the app. Problems with an order? Just tell AI and choose from the options it gives you! Wait it says you have options but none are shown. Ask for a person! That is not an option. Try again! Same story. Cancelled my subscription with excellent help from AI.”

“Batch orders are awful. Batch orders should NOT be a thing. they make orders take way too long, and it’s completely unfair to customers who paid for hot food. Especially when the driver uses a bicycle or another slow mode of transportation. it is so unbelievably stupid that an order that was going to come in 18 minutes ends up coming 40 minutes later. it’s completely ridiculous, and this feature should be removed.”

“Verify your order. It usually works well. But I placed an order and got an error saying “Oops! Something went wrong.” So I ordered a very similar item. Someone delivered both items to me which surprised me. I contacted their “Help” to get a refund and they were unwilling to give me a refund. I can still return one of them if I go out of my way to return the incorrect order, but they would not refund my fees. I will be using Door Dash in the future.”

“Scammy. I should be able to change my tip amount based on service provided. Pretty ridiculous you can’t change it after placing the order. Also why did Uber make it so difficult to send a message or talk to actual customer service. There’s almost no option to actually talk to someone you just get forwarded to useless article after useless article.”

“Too many notifications. The worst app I’ve ever had to manage for notifications. There’s a constant stream of red + badges silently delivered to the app in the Home Screen. Upon opening the app, there are no real items requiring attention. Despite having every single communication preference toggled OFF. Extremely frustrating. Do better”
