“Used to be a great app. Now it's buggy, slow, fails to function, is impossible to remove without getting a whole bunch of system error messages. More work than it's worth I guess I'm switching to Apple”
“no paragraph breaks allowed. get ready for a single block of text, there is no paragraph break button allowed, no way to input a code line even like -- as the "ai" edits that out as if it was a typo. I have to copy and paste things into this app from a separate app to have sensible pragraph breaks, and it's so difficult to highlight text in this app it constantly wants to jump into a different screen and misinterpret swipes. How does it not scroll as I swipe up to select my text? decent translation but gross usability on ios unless you're writing a small phrase”
“Please bring back the old layout. Google Translate has been one of my go-to apps for years, but the latest iPhone redesign is a major downgrade. Moving the text-entry box to the bottom makes basic translation awkward and less efficient, especially when entering longer text or switching languages. The previous layout was clearer, faster, and far more practical. This feels like a needless redesign that prioritizes appearance over usability. Please move the text box back to the top, or at minimum, add a setting that lets users choose the classic layout. Stop forcing longtime users to accept a worse interface when the old one worked perfectly well.”
“Not Perfect. It's very inaccurate but it works for my customer service duties. I had a woman come to me knowing only portoguese. No way to get a translator for that language here.”
