“Misleading Pricing. Lyft is terrible now. I just requested a ride and chose a higher priced option to get a quicker ride-7 minutes. It took 4 minutes to find a driver and then it told me the driver would arrive in 16 minutes. Now we’re 20 minutes all in and they’re still trying to charge me the higher fee. And I live in Houston not some rural town with no Lyfts. This happens every time now. Can we please go back to taxis!”
“lyft sucks. we booked a ride that said it would be here in 30 minutes. It never came. We waited for over an hour and they waited 5 to 7 business days to give us a refund. It’s ridiculous and that shouldn’t be allowed.”
“Terrible service and drivers. The customer support is honestly awful. They take 5-10 mins to respond with short simplistic answers that aren’t helpful. The drivers in Asheville , none of them speak English but yet all of them have the ability to drive for Lyft. The cars are always freezing when it’s 40 degrees outside and if you ask the driver to turn on the heat guess what? They can’t understand you or they ignore u. My drivers have lied and kept the ride going after I’ve been well into my apartment and guess what ? I’ve taken those charges . This is my only form of transportation, but it’s seems like it’s more of a scam than an actual form of transportation. If you want to waste your money by getting into a frozen car when it’s frozen outside , having to pay more for a ride than needed and also being told by support “we’re sorry , here’s a $5 credit for your $25 ride” . Go uber. They actually take time to ensure their drivers can actually drive and are up to an actual standard.”
“Try UBER. I hate that it takes 5-7 days to give people back their money and it’s always a 1 to cancel even if you just place a ride and canceled less then 5 minutes later there is always a fee not worth it try uber instead”
“App doesn’t work in Chicago, one of the biggest US cities…. Waited for over 10 min for a ride and then my request just automatically canceled. Why do you even have services if they don’t actually work. Done with Lyft.”
“Poor Customer Service. Driver involved In crash —not his Fault. But we get dropped miles from destination with no refund or Credit.”
“Please turn the pressure pricing feature off. I don’t know why this was added to the app, but the app is now doing this thing where it will give you a lower price for 12 seconds, and then as you’re checking out, it will raise the price. Please turn this off. I would rather pay what I’m expecting to pay, than rush to book a ride, only to still have to pay the amount I expected to pay because I wasn’t “fast enough.” Either offer me the lower price or don’t.”
“Issue with type selection and accessing account in the airport. There is some bug in Lyft where a tip was selected on a ride while I was actively in another app and I have the default app feature turned off. Also, while in airport the only way to access my profile was to turn off location services because a pop up screen to book a ride from the airport kept popping up. So warning to make sure you close out the app the minute you’re done with a ride and can’t immediately tip so that a tip isn’t applied that you didn’t plan for.”
“Poor functioning app. App first said 12 minutes until pickup; then it kept trying to up sale with ads; then annoyingly went to 15 minutes and then at one minute said 6 more minutes….ughhhhh frustrating. Uber app functions better.”
“Don’t track me. Tracking users via notifications is a scummy practice, do better”
