“Ads Way Too Long. I truly enjoy this game. It’s not a big challenge, but it’s a great relaxing game. Something needs to be done about the ads. They are way too long. I understand the purpose, but I’m getting to the point of deleting it.”

“Ads have become to much. I really like this game and a few weeks ago would give it a 5, but now it’s down to 1 due to big uptick in ads. I don’t mind some ads. But in recent weeks, new ads after every game have started appearing and they are looooooooong with no option to close after 10 seconds. I mostly just exit game and relaunch. It may become too much and I move on to another app entirely.”

“I have one issue. I like the graphics and the game. The ads are too long. Some freeze up my phone. Some just go back and forth to the same page when tapped. I’d rather start my game over than wait on the ads. I’m ready for a version where I can skip the ads.”

“Ads are Scams. I love the game and tolerate the ads, but buyer beware. I’ve ordered twice (from different advertisers) and never received the orders. The websites are bad or non-existent. So enjoy the game but never buy anything without vetting the company first and ordering directly from them.”

“Moving towards ad farming. This has been my favorite puzzle game. But it’s slowly getting worse. I’ve seen people reverse engineer popular iPhone games to show how they farm player analytics and then rig the game to make it more likely you will watch ads. I suspect Vita Mahjong is starting to do this. I don’t mind hard levels. I don’t mind restarting to try different choices. That makes the puzzle fun. But restarting multiple times, only to realize there is no way to win without using a power up is frustrating. Then, every time you’re in a tricky spot, you get a little pop up on the left wanting you to watch an ad to use a power up. Soon they’ll be fully rigging the game so you have to do this all the time. Also, please remove the tiles that automatically match three other pairs. They don’t choose the best matches! They mess me up and make me lose, restart (and get messed up by them again), or use a power up. Another way to push us towards power ups? Lol. Please remove these. I just miss the glory days of playing fun puzzle games without every app devolving into ad farming. Maybe it’s time to learn real mahjong and start playing with the real ones named like Ruth and Betsy.”

“Its nice but.... Its a nice game concept, but the animations are WAY too much. It should be an option in the "clean mode" section. I hate having to wait for animations to finish to continue playing. Also, I turned "auto complete" and it still completes half the puzzle midway through the game. It defeats the purpose of actually playing. Its not relaxing, overly flashy and irritating, especially if you want to spend the time finishing the puzzle on your own. For someone who pays for the subscription, there should be way more options to dial back the game to a more simple mode. I don't need 50 different animations telling me my "IQ" is going up, or that I won a puzzle piece for an entirely different game element.”

“Jacked up after update. Not sure, what’s going on, but the options to flip over the page of the tiles is literally starting a game all over again. The hint button is removing a tile to match the ones at the top. And there’s other things going on with it after this update!!!”
