App Store screenshot sizes, and a checker for yours
Upload one set of iPhone screenshots at 1320 × 2868 pixels (6.9-inch) and App Store Connect scales it down for every smaller iPhone; add 2064 × 2752 (13-inch) if your app runs on iPad. Drop your files below to check sizes, format and transparency before you upload.
- iPhone, iPad, Mac, TV, Watch
- Preview videos too
- Files stay on your device
Checked against Apple's documentation on
Rules App Store Connect enforces.
Up to 10 per size
Each display size takes 1 to 10 screenshots, as PNG or JPEG. If your app looks the same on every iPhone, upload the largest required size and App Store Connect scales it down.
No transparency
Screenshots can't have an alpha channel. A PNG exported with transparency is rejected even if every pixel is opaque: export without alpha, or as JPEG.
Previews: 15 to 30 seconds
Up to 3 app previews per size and language, 15 to 30 seconds long, at most 30 frames a second and 500 MB, as .mov, .m4v or .mp4.
The first three do the selling
Search results show your first screenshots (or preview) next to your icon. Most people decide there, so put the clearest promise in the first frame.
