“I love it but hate it. I LOVE MUSIC SPOTIFY IS MY LIFE but can we please add a little bit more privileges to not having premium? I don’t want to spend all my money on DIGITAL music! I just want unlimited skips OR can play songs in random order. Also can we not have 5 ads in a row not my favorite thing.”

“Price keeps going up for no good reason. Spotify used to be nine dollars a month now it’s about 15 bucks a month as soon it’s going to be 20 and I think to myself I don’t wanna be forced to be paying 20 bucks a month and then eventually made me 40 bucks a month in the future and that feels for all the options I did the same for it was $21 a month and I thought it was just not worth it for functions that should be free Spotify. It’s a good app and they do have more music by understand the price increase but to be honest, I’m not like the trajectory of raising the prices because eventually they’re just gonna keep going up and otherwise the app is pretty good.”

“new bugs, didn’t have it 2012-2026. [1 star for attention.] a recent app update introduced new bugs, please fix. **edit to add:** 0. i like the idea of Song DNA and liner notes and such, but it appears that it’s been replacing song lyrics on a lot of tracks, which is not cool. it’s so uncool, in fact, that if i had to choose between the song lyrics or the credits, i would choose the song lyrics every time. please bring back the song lyrics. 1. since i joined spotify in 2012 as user number 1,042 stateside, you tap a track title, it immediately highlights green, then plays the track once loaded. 2. however, that recently changed in a 2026 update. now, when tapping a track title, especially on the search tab, it does not register the touch with a color change initially. so the intuitive next step is, “oh, i didn’t tap it well,” so tap again. nothing. so tap, tap, tap, and THEN the track title turns green. 3. whatever the reason, maybe not changing color til it loads? idk, but it is a bug, not a feature, and it represents an annoying change after 14 years of instant tactile feedback upon tapping. 4. I don’t mind waiting for the track to load as before, but I want to keep the instant tap feedback that you’ve served up for over a decade. please fix it. will then revise review / stars.”

“Needs to stop asking me to review. Cannot STAND all the popups constantly asking me to rate the app. Which is why I’m giving it 3 stars. App is great other than that, just need it to stop asking me to leave a review. If it happens again I’m leaving 1 star.”
