“Scammed out of my money. I purchased a phone and never received it! no one from the Vinted customer care support even care to help me resolve my issue.”

“New user permanently banned with no reason. I created a Vinted account this afternoon and listed 2 of my own personal items, both purchased directly from the brands with order confirmations to prove it. The same day, Vinted deleted both listings and permanently banned my account for alleged counterfeit activity. I was never contacted or asked for any proof before the ban, and the message claimed the decision was manually assessed, which I find hard to believe given the speed and lack of any questions. I have now appealed, but as a first-time seller this was a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience. And not mention it says that it will take up to 7 business days to get back to me because they are busy…I would not recommend Vinted to new sellers based on my experience.”

“Payouts not happening. Sending email and notification that sale is complete and payout is now in Wallet, but it’s still in Pending. It’s been happening the past few sales and taking longer and longer each time to get the money. Tried contacting support but every message just sends the same info from FAQ page, which doesn’t solve the problem. Whenever I try to open the item from the Orders page, it just throws an error message and the item disappears from Completed Orders. Hours later, still no money.”

“Whatch who you buy from. Vinted Inc. – United States BBB accreditation: No. BBB rating: Not Rated. Complaints: The San Francisco BBB profile lists 372 complaints in the last 3 years.  The Delaware profile has a separate listing with no rating because its address is a registered agent location.  Common complaints include: Accounts permanently banned without a clear explanation. Sellers losing merchandise after buyers dispute purchases. Refunds denied. Packages marked delivered when buyers never received them. Difficulty reaching an actual customer service representative. Funds being held or transactions completed unexpectedly.”

“Useless. I have made an account twice, and each time was banned for ONLY CLOTHING. Message from “Vinted” said it wasn’t authentic. How are clothes not real?!?! Absolutely not worth the time.”

“Shady. Don’t use Vinted! I sold over 100 items, never once sold anything that wasn’t authentic. The other night I got a notification that four items were removed for potential counterfeit. I clicked on the link to dispute it and send any extra pictures or proof that I had and it only allowed me FIVE pictures for four separate items. I did what I could to show proof and as soon as I sent it, I was permanently banned with ZERO way to speak to a person or even a bot tbh. You can’t do ANYTHING about it and it’s not fair. I have to wait for my money to dribble in, I can’t track anything I’ve mailed anymore, nothing! Go to Mercari or Depop!”
