“Too many ads. There are too many ads to enjoy this game. I will stick to other apps”
“Good games with annoying ads. Yeah, has a lot of really good games with decent levels. Probably not quite as good as the individual apps that first implemented those games, but still really good. The problem is there is no way to fully remove ads. You can buy down some ads, but not all ads. Additionally, the game keeps bugging you to give reviews, which is very annoying. If it would just let you play, this will be a five star app. But it won’t.”
“Not bad but has ads. I really enjoyed the variety of games offered and that it really worked without internet. However, the constant interruptions from the ads that you have to sit thru when it was supposedly ad free is very annoying. If I have to pay to go ad free it would only be for a game I play regularly which I don’t have time for these days. Feels like a bait and switch setup honestly.”
“Way to many adds and glitches. Every time I press on a game I have to watch a add everytime I exit a game I have to watch an add also the 10000 on the app cover doesn’t mean 10000 games there’s less than 50 and they are way too hard also it kicked me out of one game when I was about to win☹️”
“Please make the easy levels easy!. Sometimes i just want to play and not think about how to play. I need the easy levels to be EASY. I find the game trying to make me lose every time. Its infuriating and I’ve deleted my app. Please make the easy levels EASY. I play to calm my nerves and I’ve found it makes me more nervous. Please!!!!”
“Scam. Its not 10000 games, the ads are atrocious, and the bot cheats to won on hard modes (ive played it against itself). 0 stars”
“Ads Have Taken Over. Ads are insufferable. Even with no WiFi and no cellular permissions you get ad after ad. Lame and not worth it.”
“Feeling Cheated. This used to be my favorite app, and BACKGAMMON used to be my favorite game. I’ve played it well over 3,000 times. But the cheating by the bot is now so excessive that it’s taken all the fun out of it. It’s always been obvious that the dice rolls are not random, the bot chooses what numbers come up. Still, it was at least mostly fair. Whatever changes you’ve made have thrown fairness out the window. Every dice roll is rigged now. Where’s the fun in that? When game developers make a bot harder to beat by letting it cheat and steal victories, instead of keeping it fair and programming the bot to make smarter moves, that’s not clever—it’s lazy. The cheating ability you’ve programmed into the bot has destroyed this game. An example: the bot has always given itself higher average dice rolls or more frequent doubles. That was fine. I could always play smarter and win anyway. Now, though, my most frequent roll is a 3, except, of course, when I really need one, and then I never get one. It’s hard to get anywhere in backgammon when you only roll 3s. In the final stage, when the bot is moving all its pieces into its home board, it rolls doubles at least every other turn (or more). In a recent game, the bot rolled high doubles in five of its final six turns to come from (way) behind and win. In those same six turns, I rolled a 3 or 4 every time. How is that fun? Another example: if the bot still has pieces in my home board while I’m moving my final pieces in, it will rig the dice so that I have only one possible move that leaves a piece vulnerable. The bot then rolls the exact numbers needed to hit that piece and send it back to the middle to start over. It continues rolling whatever it needs to advance its remaining pieces while repeatedly hitting my vulnerable piece as I try to re-enter and move around the board. Over and over I re-enter, it hits my piece, I re-enter, it hits my piece. Only after all of its pieces are safely in its home board does it finally let me pass. From there, the dice are rigged so I only roll small numbers, by which point half of its pieces are already off the board when I reach home. This happens in almost every game now. Cheated. How is that fun? Yet another example: if I hit one of its pieces and send it to the middle, the bot will rig the dice so that one number re-enters its piece while the other lands on one of mine. This happens the same way all the time now. How is it fun if hitting the bot’s piece never allows a clean getaway, especially when the bot can rig the dice to hit any of my pieces at any time and always get away cleanly? In a recent game, the bot took several turns to re-enter all its pieces. So it rigged the dice to give me double 1s for four straight turns, keeping my piece trapped behind one of its. Once it finally had all its pieces back on the board, it rigged the dice again to hit the piece that was still sitting there trapped. How is that fun? It’s not! Why do game developers do this? It’s an easy problem to fix. It really is. RANDOMIZE THE DICE! But you don’t, because then you couldn’t rate the bot as “hard”. DON’T DOWNLOAD THIS GAME. It will leave you feeling nothing but robbed.”
“Fun while it lasted. This game was super fun and I would play it all the time at volleyball tournaments when there was no wifi, but then it raised the age rating to an unreasonable age and I can’t even play it anymore. Every time I ask for exception to use it, it just doesn’t load and makes me keep clicking it over and over. That’s why I gave up and un downloaded it.”
“Excellent multi-game app, but hint and “Save Me” ads are extremely frustrating. I am enjoying this game app, and it’s great for both adults and kids. I am playing Matching Numbers, Yatzy, Nuts & Bolts, Petoku, Sudoku, Hearts, Number Connect, and Word Finder the most. I did pay for the $5.99 no ad version, and it’s worth it because the ads are so annoying. Hint and “Save Me” ads cannot be avoided, however. And they are 30-seconds long (TOO LONG), and difficult to exit. Incidentally, there is no “Save Me” option on the iPad version of this app, which is extremely frustrating. Please shorten the hint ads and add some more games, like Farkle, Tens, and Five Crowns!”
