Several times a day we record the top 100 of Apple's Top Free iPhone chart in France, and of its Top Free chart for games. Each app gets its best rank of the day; the lists order apps by their average rank over every day of the month we recorded, counting a day off the chart as #101, so apps that kept their downloads up all month come first.
Apple doesn't publish download counts, and its Top Free chart weighs recent downloads most, so this is the most downloaded list as the chart sees it. Paid apps aren't included. The download figures beside the biggest apps are AppTrendKit estimates of worldwide downloads over the last 30 days, as of today; figures for other apps are part of Pro.
