  “Should be better. I got Excel for my phone a few years ago when Microsoft came out with 365, the online apps you can share between all your devices. Great idea, but should work smoother by now. I've been waiting years for them to work the bugs out of Excel and Word for the iPhone and iPad. They both work great on my MacBook Pro. They are so hard to use on my phone. Even simple things in excel like copy and paste, highlighting things etc are so difficult. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I still like Microsoft products and use them over Google or other programs. The integration between all my devices is really great. I just wish this app and Word worked more smoothly. I'm sure they will one day, but I'm still waiting. Fortunately, I mainly use this on my Mac. That's what it's made for.”

  “Microsoft!. No, I don’t want to leave a review. No, I don’t want to dismiss this message every time I open the Excel app, or Outlook, or Teams, or anything else!! I just want to view a file. This prompt is preventing me from doing my job and is wasting my time. The app has a purpose. Why are you adding things that prevent the purpose??? Forcing me to respond to a “would you like to leave a review” prompt is no better than “accept or reject cookies” on most browsers. You are wasting people’s time. Nobody wants to leave a review. If you keep doing this, I will keep giving one star reviews to further deflate the purpose you are trying to achieve. You may say: “well, isn’t leaving this review wasting your time even more? It only takes a few seconds to dismiss the prompt.” To that I say, I will never go out of my way to leave a review - good or bad. If you prompt me, you get one star. Beg more, get less in return. I think this would be a perfect scenario: 1) download app 2) use app when you need it 3) app opens what you expect it to. That third step is key, isn’t it?? Isn’t that why we have the app in the first place? If you don’t open what I expect, how could YOU expect 5/5 stars and repeat customers? If this cost me $$$ I would use a different service. BTW, even though you created Outlook and Excel, how come I can never view Excel files in Outlook on mobile? It’s extremely buggy and requires me to open the files in a separate app. Total time waster. Especially when you add review prompts on top of it. Have a great day, whoever reviews this from MS.   “App lags. Despite a recent update, the app needs bug fixes and improvements. The workbook will not close properly, just continuously loads after updates are made to the worksheet. Upon force quitting and relaunch of the app, the updates made disappear although the time-stamp for autosave suggests that the edits were saved. Tried deleting the app and redownloading and no luck.”

  “Can’t change Margins on iPad?! …Still? In 2026?!. Excel has been on the Ipad for well over a decade. I get it’s not meant as a full hearty laptop, but I still feel they should be doing their best to improve the costumer experience and usefulness of Excel and Word over fixing nuances like icons on the menu bar. I have the 12.9 Pro because it’s my main computer, easier for me to carry, and with an external keyboard, it’s more expensive than a laptop. Limiting margins is one of the greatest frustrations because excel is column and row based application so the print limit of 1” on all four sides is ridiculous and incredibly frustrating. There’s also freezing and curser issues iPad. I’ll make an error and often can’t place my curser in the exact spot to fix it so I have to retype that cell / formula. This curser issue happens in Word sometimes too. The iPad is very popular, so I wish more effort could be given to smoothing out the business operations a little because it’s too much to have to try to go back and forth between devices. I switched to the iPad because I no longer deal in more complex spreadsheets, but I still want the basics…like a bigger printable workspace. Sorry, I am just feeling frustrated by this today.”
